Parmesan Chicken Dinner

Background

My good friend Rose felt like cooking Parmesan Chicken because she never had before. So we invited Kate and Adam over and put together a meal for it.

Dishes

  • Parmesan chicken. Straight out of The Best Recipe. Very good.
  • Linguine (plain old dry), served with Italian red sauce
  • A nice basic salad: spring mix, avacado, tomato, carrot. Served with generous amounts of olive oil & balsamic vinegar.
  • Garlic Bread.

Reception

Everybody loved it. Rose found the whole thing a bit greasy, between the fried chicken, butter-laden garlic bread and all. But I didn’t find it too heavy. We ate all the chicken, almost all the pasta & sauce, half the garlic bread, and half the salad. Nobody had room for dessert.
