For my 33 1/3 birthday (which is actually today!) I’m going to be roasting some large mammals in my backyard in an egregious display of meat. We’ve got half a goat and about a quarter of a lamb that will be showing up. They’ll spit-roast over an open fire for a while and then we’ll carve off chunks of yumminess!

I just got a cord of alder wood dump-trucked into my driveway to fuel the flesh-roasting fires. Now I gotta wheel-barrow it all to the back yard.

If I’ve forgotten to invite you but you know where I live, consider yourself welcome at my place on Sunday afternoon.  Bring a fork and your appetite and maybe something with fiber in it. Not sure when the meat will be ready exactly, but if you follow me on twitter I’ll give updates.
